HOW to use

Mulch or ground cover must be dry and stay dry for at least 24 hours to achieve maximum bonding power. Mulch should not be damp or wet before spraying for proper bonding power. (Make sure to turn sprinkler systems off after initial application.)

Dilute LANDSCAPE LOCK immediately prior to application, measuring the required quantity of LANDSCAPE LOCK into a bucket or spray tank (not included), adding the measured quantity of water. Mix well with a paddle or shake the spray tank well until thoroughly blended.

Apply LANDSCAPE LOCK using a garden pressure spray pump with the nozzle held between 10 and 40 centimetres above the mulch surface, depending upon the type of nozzle. A garden watering can may be used but care needs be taken to ensure overall coverage.

Following the dilution rates for the appropriate material, mix Landscape Lock with water in a spray pack or watering can. Mix well and spray on to DRY mulch, allow to set undisturbed for approximately 24 hours. Do not use if rain is likely within 24 hours. Do not irrigate or water for 24 hours after application. Avoid walking on or disturbing the mulch after application.

NOZZLE AND FILTER BLOCKAGE

In some instances, a skin may form on the surface of Landscape Lock. In order to avoid blockages in the pump filter and nozzle, always affix the provided sieved screen top to the bottle before pouring (or use a fine kitchen sieve.)This will prevent skin solids from clogging the nozzle and spray. Should a blockage occur, check and clear the pipe and spray nozzle of any debris.

CLEANING

IMPORTANT: THOROUGHLY CLEAN THE NOZZLE WITH FRESH WATER IMMEDIATELY AFTER USE AND PRIOR TO THE ADHESIVE

SETTING IN THE NOZZLE.

Have a bucket of fresh water available to dip the spray nozzle into to store for a short period before re-using.

SPILLAGES

In case of spillage, LANDSCAPE LOCK can be cleaned up with water.
